Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art developed by African slaves in the early 1500's. It provides a rare modern format to bring together our best human resources; music, vigorous physical interaction, playfulness, community structure and creativity. Developing problem solving capabilities, confidence and respectfulness. Much more thabn a martial art Capoeira is a way of life. Capoeira is for everyone but not just anyone.

Paulino Arteaga has been practicing Capoeira for over 10 years, starting in Boulder Colorado with Contra Mestre Galo and continuing study with Mestre Acordeon , one of the first Capoeira teachers in the USA. Paulino has his blessings to teach.
