Circle Singing At The Jackson Wellsprings Community Room
Friday September 7th 6-8pm
July 30, 2018
Circle Singing at the Jackson Wellspring is a co-creation of musical harmony that happens through emerging leadership and participation once a month.
Circle Singing was started in Ashland in February of this year by Hannah after moving to southern Oregon from California and being part of the One Voice Circle Singers in Oakland. Bobby McFerrin popularized circle singing over the last three decades but it is based in call and response. Hannah learned circle singing from Dave Worm and the One Voice Circle Singing community and continues to use this modality for personal and communal healing.
Loren Wheeler and Katie Buttermore facilitate as well as other emerging guides each time who are empowered to step into their voice and guide in this structure of decentralized leadership.
Every voice matters. All are welcome. This is a mistake free zone. $5-$10 suggested donation for those in a position to do so however this is a FREE EVENT! Singing is a resource free to us through the opening of ourselves. All are welcome regardless of funds. (notaflof). Thank you for singing!
